The Corporational Asset Rating Stratum (CARS) is a categorization of the total liquid and illiquid assets of a company or organization calculated and standardized by the Illuminatian Bureau of Commerce and Trade (BCT). The CRRS combines liquid Monetary Unit (μ) assets of a corporate entity with reported information about the entity's other calculable and countable property.

The CARS allows comparison of for-profit and non-profit corporate entities across numerous industries and corporate structural styles. The CARS, in conjunction with the Corporational Revenue Rating Stratum (CRRS), is a component used in the setting and management of the interest rate imposed on the Monetary Network bank accounts held by corporate entities.

The Corporational Asset Rating Stratum includes a primary rating that indicates total assets and a sub-rating that considers only monetary assets. Most CARS ratings published will include both measurements.

The BCT uses the CARS to help create economic reporting and to help in its macroeconomic intervention and management efforts. Meanwhile, the Department of Monetary Policy (DMP) uses the CARS as one of a handful of data points to calculate which interest rate with which any given corporate entity's Monetary Network balance will be assessed.
