Earthism

Earthism is a thought tradition widely observed in Illuminatia which extolls the virtues of the earthly roots of Illuminatians' foreparents and foretells that the inhabitants of the Neonisi planet will someday in the future reestablish contact with Earth.

Earthism devotees believe the work of the Lucidus mission will not be complete until Illuminatia reestablishes contact with Earth and the scientific and cultural exchange that would materialize with that contact takes place.

Ministries related to Earthism tend to work to preserve the constructive cultural capital that Illuminatia inherited from Earth. These efforts seek to understand in what ways the knowledge of the harmony and conflict among Earth's cultures might inform Illuminatian society in a way that might better Illuminatia's chances of survival and maximize its quality of its existence. In these ways, Earthists frequently support the study of Earth history.
