The Academic Omniversity of Central Illuminatia (AOCI) is a public institution of quaternary education located in Blue Note. AOCI is the most popular omniversity in all of central Illuminatia, attracting a regional base of students from much of the Randall Bay Megalopolitan Complex as well as the population centers of the greater Adamopolitan River valley.
The Academic Omniversity of Central Illuminatia, like most omniversities, offers full-service, feature-rich quaternary educational programs for adult learners seeking a comprehensive continuing educational experience that exceeds the requirements of the Bureau of Education and Enlightenment (BEE) for continuing education. AOIC's educational programs take place over a standard 100 DU term, giving pupils a generous period of time to absorb novel in-depth knowledge while taking part in seminars, symposia, discussion sessions, practical experiential intercourses, and extracurricular activities that are believed to enrich the overall educational experience. Students also find the 100 DU term to constitute a relaxing respite from everyday life.
AOCI is well-regarded for its quaternary degree programs in the journalism and editorial arts, elementary particle science, and Neonisian sciences, although the omniversity does provide a broad array of arts and science credentials. AOCI specializes in quaternary education and does not offer secondary or tertiary education programs.
Academic Omniversity of Central Illuminatia serves an average of 16,000 students annually and yields a revenue of roughly 1,740,000μ/AU. AOCI receives financial support from the BEE, as is usual for public institutions of quaternary education. Revenue is supplemented by other public and private sources which provide honorariums for individual students. AOCI receives academic oversight from the BEE's Office of Curriculum and Programming (OCP).
