Office of Further Redundancy

The Illuminatia Office of Further Redundancy (OFR) is a government office operating within the Illuminatia Department of Redundancy Department (DRD). The OFR furthers the redundancy of the DRD by employing personnel who duplicate certain elements of the work of the DRD.

In theory, the positions and much of the output of Department of Redundancy Department personnel are redundant to some other governmental agency by virtue of the nature of the DRD itself. However, in situations in which a DRD employee is found to be ineffective or unproductive, a counterpart in the Office of Further Redundancy may be employed to ensure proper redundancy to the DRD position that the OFR staff is shadowing.

Since the DRD is meant to be redundant to a legitimate governmental position, if the person performing the work in the DRD is found to not be adequately making their work redundant, it is the policy of the DRD that some other means must be found to ensure that the work is properly redundant. The OFR has been created to guarantee proper redundancy within the DRD.
