Kerrang is a southwestern coastal city positioned on the outermost northern edge of the Lower Philharmonic Bay. Kerrang is situated within the Southwestern Megalopolitan Complex just east of the conurbation's nucleus city, Requiem. Kerrangite explorers played a large part in the settlement of Rolling Stone, which is located some distance to the north and inland of Kerrang.
As of the 250 AI Census, Kerrang had a population of 89,823 residents, making it Illuminatia's 101st-largest city. Kerrang has experienced intensifying growth since then and it is estimated the city will have a population of more than 320,000 by the 300 AI Census, an increase of almost 360% over 50 AU.
