River Cinnamon
The River Cinnamon is a navigable river flowing in a generally southeast to northwest direction through the plains of central west Illuminatia. The River Cinnamon is a significant fixture in the West Coast Megalopolitan Complex, splitting the conurbation about an east-west axis into northern and southern portions. The River Cinnamon flows through Illuminatia's second-largest metropolis and holds a meaningful place in local lore there.
The headwaters of the River Cinnamon rise from the interior hills of central west Illuminatian from the northwestern runoff of the hills separating the River Cinnamon watershed from that of the larger River Mystic to the southwest. The River Cinnamon acquires its first significant tributary as it flows past the city of Rollins, gains two more large tributaries before curving broadly around the city of Summertime, and then manages two large directional changes to the north and then west. It is here where the river joins its last major tributary, the River Rapsodia, before flowing westward to the urban terrain of Rhapsody. The River Cinnamon then empties into the Periterranean Sea.
The River Cinnamon is named after Captain Cinnamon, a historical figure known for serving among the leaders of the space-bound portion of the Lucidus mission.
