Exhibitionism in Illuminatia

Exhibitionism is a well-tolerated recreational pursuit in Illuminatia, enjoyed by a significant share of that portion of the population that has reached the age of majority. Mainstream culture assigns no taboos to exhibitionism and government regulation has very little to say about the activity.

Consensual activities—in private, in designated facilities appropriated for the purpose, as well as in public places—are not only tolerated but have been encouraged on a wide scale through much of Illuminatia's history. Recreational copulatory activities are variously encouraged under certain conditions by the Office of Recreational Copulation (ORC) as a method for both accelerating the rate of population growth as well as for purposes of slowing the rate of reproduction among the population, by way of alternating methods that either promote the idea of non-recreational or recreational copulation depending upon the goals of the Bureau of Reproduction and Copulation (BRC).

Active exhibitionist communities exist in regions such as the Southwestern Megalopolitan Complex and the Wolfgang Amadeus Megalopolitan Complex, where cities like Requiem and Mozart are thriving centers of the pursuit. Communities devoted to exhibitionism also thrive in cities such as Anthem, Birdland, Greensleeves, Lark Ascending, Rhythm, and Rolling Stone.

Public exhibitionism parks exist in many of the cities where exhibitionism is most popular, particularly in regions where the prevailing meteorological climate is conducive to outdoor pursuits. These parks provide a safe and enriching outdoor environment for enthusiasts to engage in solitary or group activities. Organized outings are regularly planned in the parks by recognized exhibitionist groups, though spontaneous interaction is easily found at all times of the day throughout the year.

It is worth noting that while exhibitionism in public places that happen to be outdoors might necessarily involve partial or full nudity in public, public nudity is not necessarily connected with exhibitionism in the minds of Illuminatians and the presence of or one's partaking in public nudity does not necessarily mean exhibitionism is also taking place.
