The River Timmons is a body of water flowing from south to north across the interior plains of north-central Illuminatia. The source of the River Timmons is in the Timmons Range near the city of Chopin. Some distance to the north, the River Timmons joins the River Marlene downriver of Tchaikovsky at the city of Marche Slave.
The River Timmons outlines one of the two most-frequently utilized land routes for transportation between the major northern coastal city of Serenade and Adamopolis to the south. The population centers along the river are all secondary settlement cities and tertiary settlement cities—having been settled by migrants from Illuminatia's original settlements—and these towns mostly arose because of their location along this well-traveled north-south route.
The cities adjacent to the River Timmons and its tributaries are primarily populated by descendants of the third multiversal duplication of the Lucidus I ship.
